Brett

Brett Bailey is the Managing Partner and a founding partner of Valor Veterans Law, where he oversees firm operations and represents veterans in benefits appeals and related administrative matters. Prior to co-founding Valor, Brett served as Senior Associate at the Rocky Mountain Veterans Advocacy Project (RMVAP), where he handled complex veterans benefits cases and mentored junior advocates.

Brett is an Army veteran who served four years on active duty, including a deployment to Afghanistan, following his graduation from the University of Florida in 2015. After his honorable discharge, he attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. During law school, Brett interned with RMVAP for three semesters, gaining hands-on experience in veterans benefits and administrative advocacy.

After earning his J.D. and a certificate in Constitutional Rights and Remedies, Brett began his legal career in civil litigation at a Denver law firm before returning to veterans advocacy. He rejoined RMVAP as a staff attorney and later advanced to Senior Associate, where he played a central role in case strategy, client representation, and organizational leadership.

Brett brings a practical, mission-driven approach to veterans advocacy, informed by his military service and his experience litigating and managing complex administrative cases.
